Why talk to people anonymously?
Talking to people who don't know you can be oddly freeing. You can practise a language you're shy about, try out an opinion, or unwind after a long day without wondering how it looks to people you know.
Talk4Now · Guide
Sometimes you want to talk without it being tied to your name, your face or your social accounts. On Talk4Now you can join a live voice room as a guest: you get a random name, nobody sees you, and you don't need an email or a phone number.

The quickest way to get comfortable talking to people online is to do it. Two minutes in a live clan beats another article.

Anonymous doesn't have to mean anything goes, though. The best anonymous spaces still have people looking after them, and that's the balance Talk4Now aims for.
It takes a few seconds and asks for nothing about you.
Being anonymous to other people isn't the same as being invisible. Your voice is still your voice, and anything you say in a room is heard by everyone in it. Messages you type in a room's chat are visible to the room too.
So treat it like a café: the people around you don't know who you are, but they can hear you. Keep identifying details, like your full name, school, workplace or address, out of the conversation.
Guests are also covered by the same rules as everyone else. Hosts can mute or remove anyone, and reports from other people reach our moderators, guest or not.
Staying a guest makes sense when you're just trying it out, when you want to practise a language without anyone you know hearing you stumble, or when you simply want a chat with no strings attached. You can come and go as often as you like.
Signing in starts to make sense once you've found people you enjoy talking to. A lasting profile means the same name every time, so regulars recognise you. You can follow people to see when they're online and message them between rooms.
There's no right answer, and you can switch whenever you want. Plenty of people spend their first week as a guest and only sign in once a room starts to feel like theirs.
The difference between an anonymous voice room and an anonymous one-on-one chat is the company. In a clan there are several people and a host, a topic, and a conversation already going. Nobody is singled out, and if someone gets out of line, the whole room notices.
If you enjoy a conversation and want to keep in touch, sign in and follow the people you liked. If not, just leave. That's fine too.
On Talk4Now you can join live voice rooms as a guest, with a random name and no email. Pick a clan, listen first, and talk when you're ready.
No. Guest sign-in needs neither. You only need to sign in with Google if you want a lasting profile.
They see your guest name and hear your voice. They can't see your face unless you turn your camera on, and your guest name isn't connected to any of your other accounts.
It's safer with moderation. Hosts can mute or remove people, and anyone can block or report someone. Keep personal details to yourself, as you would with any strangers.
