The most effective preparation is consistent live conversation practice. Join Talk4Now English voice rooms to speak with native and fluent English speakers in real time. This develops the natural fluency, quick thinking, and confidence that IELTS Speaking rewards — skills that cannot be built through passive study alone.
The Speaking test is an 11-14 minute face-to-face interview with three parts. Part 1: introduction and general questions (4-5 minutes). Part 2: a prepared long turn on a topic card (3-4 minutes, including 1 minute preparation). Part 3: an abstract discussion related to the Part 2 topic (4-5 minutes). The test assesses fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in equal measure.
Yes. Talk4Now provides free live English voice rooms where you can practice speaking with real people on diverse topics — exactly the type of conversation practice that improves IELTS Speaking performance. Combine this with free official practice materials from British Council and IDP for comprehensive preparation.
Band 7 fluency comes from speaking, not reading. Two minutes in a live clan is a real Part 2 rehearsal.
